Walk with Yourself, 2023. I wanted to explore the idea of confronting our past selves. This photo was taken in Los Angeles near the Arts District. As my friend walks one direction across the street, she passes by herself with another person. I used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to overlay two images: my friend walking with another person, and a graffitied brick wall. There is a juxtaposition of movement and stillness, which I find that somewhere in between often lies confrontation.
